Shoe collection!

Hello everyone,
Today I have decided to let you all have a peak at some of my most loved shoes from my cherished shoe collection!

First I want to show you my favourite boots, which I purchased from Topshop around mid January for the winter season .These boots proved to be money well spent as they are so comfy to walk in yet still look stylish and chic. I was looking for a pair of boots which gave me some extra height, as I am quite small and these boots were perfect ! The wedge heel allow me some height and elongates my legs, instantly giving an illusion I am skinnier. So what's not to love ?
The boots cost £45 as I purchased them from the sale.
I would normally team these Topshop Boots with tights and a skater skirt or jeans to give a dressed up casual feel.

Secondly there are my loved Dr Martins boots, which I purchased for the spring/summer season. I had never bought Dr Martins before as I found the dark and shiny designs never suited my style, so I was extremely happy when I found the cream floral boots as my style is more girly which they matched completely! Luckily I purchased these in the sale at the amazing price of £25 however I'm sure other floral styles can be purchased on the Dr Martin website and other well known shoe shops such as office.
I would normally team these boots with my mum jeans from Topshop and a crop too to match the 90s style trend.

Lastly there are my new wedge sandals from New Look which I purchased two weeks ago in preparation for summer. I wanted a pair of shoes which I can wear with shorts to make me legs appear skinnier. I love the way they look casual but can be teamed with a dress or jeans to appear more elegant and chic!

Thank you for reading!

Shopping spree in Bournemouth

I recently went shopping to Bournemouth with my best friend Rachel the other day and I've decided to talk about what I bought.

We first went into Beales where we found a gorgeous MAC make up counter and I was tempted into buying one of their iconic lipsticks. I tested out a few different shades but I have always found that light pink shades suit my complexion best, so I went for the pink shade 'Snob'. Luckily I received a 10% off discount as there happened to be a sale on. I adore the way MAC lipsticks stay onto your lips when you go out and don't smudge as easily, which is a common problem I found with my Revlon lipstick in strawberry shortcake.

Here is my MAC lipstick in 'Snob'

After we had bought our lipsticks we decided to walk to the other side of Bournemouth town center and visit the Body Shop and Zara. In the Body Shop we were testing out all the perfumed sprays and feel in love with the gorgeous scent of Brazil Nut, which I believe is a new addition to their collection. I would recommend it to anyone who loves to smell sweet and loves summer !

Here is my Brazil Nut eau de toilette!

I had been looking for a key piece of clothing for my summer wardrobe and found exactly what I was looking for in Zara's TRF collection. It was a silk blazer in a cream colour fabric embellished with red and blue flowers complete with tassels, adding a festival bohemian chick vibe which I feel is a key essential style for spring/summer 13!

Welcome to my new blog !

Hello,
My name is Jessica Hollings, I am a year 11 student currently sitting my GCSE exams. I've always been interested in fashion so I decided to set up a blog dedicated to fashion and things which I am currently interested in. Although, unfortunately I won't be able to post as much as I would like to due to me exams, however when my exams are over I will have the opportunity too.

As well as this I'm devoted to reading, I am particularly interested in reading classical works by Jane Austin and the Bronte sisters. Later on in the holidays I hope to re-decorate my room to a vintage Cath Kidston theme, and I will be blogging about this when the time comes.

Thank you for reading, hope you enjoy my blog!

Love Jess
